After the Cup match in Velika Gorica in which Hajduk lost 2:1 and the home team Gorica qualified to the next round, Hajduk's head coach Damir Burić commented the match:
"Congratulations to Gorica, we saw two different half times. Gorica showed us what efficiency means, in the first half we were dominating but we didn't score, while they scored from the first chance that they had. I don't understand what happened top us in the second half, we must analyze that, we lack the true striker's instinct, it's been like that for a few games now. We are truly disappointed but we need to get ahead and start preparing for the Saturday's game with the same opponent, the only positive thing is that this game is coming soon and we will try to make amends for today".
