Hajduk has achieved the third First League win in a row. After Cibalia and Dinamo, Hajduk defeated RNK Split by 5:2 in front of their supporters at Poljud. Five different players scored for Hajduk in today's match.
Nikola Vlasic was the first scorer and captain Zoran Nizic scored at the end of the first half for a new lead. In the second half of the match, the goals were scored by the strikers Ante Erceg, Ahmed Said Said and finally Franck Ohandza.
Coach Joan Carrillo was happy after the third consecutive win and after the match, he held a post-match press conference at which he said:
"It was a very good match for the audience as the teams scored seven goals. For us, this was a very dangerous game after the derby against Dinamo in Zagreb. I had to refresh the team withr new players, I noticed that they lack some adrenaline. It was very difficult but we managed to win because of the players' commitment. We were a bit tired and we scored early in the match, so we have lost the discipline that is typical for us. Nevertheless, I congratulate the players on their commitment and fight".
