Hajduk's goalkeeper Josip Posavec played another good match, this time against Lokomotiva at Poljud. While he couldn't save the only goal that Hajduk conceded, he had two great interventions in the 73rd minute, when Radonjić and then Uzuni shot on goal. He saved with his feet and Hajduk kept the result unchanged.
"It was a very important victory for us, our motivation was at the highest possible level because our supporters could again watch the game from the stands. I would like to praise my teammates, especially the young ones, who maybe played in such an atmosphere for the first time. Although the loud noises from the stands could make pressure on the players, we turned it into an additional motive and we dominated the field throughout the match. We conceded one goal that could have ruined the general impression, but we kept playing our game, we showed our characted and deservedly scored the second goal" said Hajduk's goalkeeper after the match.
Posavec and his teammates are already thinking about the next match against Rijeka at Rujevica.
"When we started our mid-season preparation, we set a goal to work as hard as we can, stay humble and believe that the result will come of it. We took that path and I believe that we will continue that way. We have to give our best in every match, regardless the opponent and people will recognize it just as they did today" concluded Posavec.
