Hajduk's goalkeeper Josip Posavac had several great saves in the draw against Rijeka at Rujevica. Josip couldn't have saved the only goal that the home team scored, but once again he showed that he is bringing extra quality to the team.
"I don't want to talk about myself, the whole team was trying to get a positive result, and I'm glad I could make a contribution. We didn't give up and we finally managed to score an equalizer. My goal is to give my best in each training session, which in the end returns to you during the matches" Posavec said after the match.
Jakov Puljić scored for a lead of Rijeka, and Mijo Caktaš set the final result from the penalty kick.
"Rijeka was looking for a win, they forced high rhythm, but in the end we responded well to that goal that they scored. It's never easy to return after you concede a goal at Rujevica, we got one point that before the match against FCSB means a lot in psychological sense and now we turn to that match in Bucharest" added Josip, concluding:
"We expect a tough match, we have to be mentally prepared for all the challenges, they will focus on not conceding a goal at home, we will do our best, play for Hajduk, for us and I believe we will return happy and satisfied from Bucharest. I wouldn't have anything against repeating this result in that match. The only thing I can promise is that all of us, starting with me, will do our best to stay in that competition".
