On this evening's Adriatic derby, Rijeka defeated Hajduk 4:2 at Poljud. Hajduk scored the first goal from a penalty (Ohandza, 13th minute) but was not leading for long as Rijeka scored an equalizer in the 24th minute (Gavranovic). In the 35th minute, Rijeka took a lead from a penalty (Bezjak) after a faul on Ristovski. In the second half, Rijeka scored another goal (Bezjak, 62nd minute), while only four minutes later, Ardijan Ismajli scored for 3:2. The final result was set during a closing period of the match, after Simic had to leave the game for injury (77th minute) and Hajduk had previously made three substitutions, for which reason the team had to end the match with ten players on the pitch. Andrijasevic (Rijeka) thus managed to score for 4:2 in the 79th minute.
