"The whole team played a very good match. We didn't concede a goal which is the most important thing but we are sorry that we didn't score more goals. We were a better team throughout the match. Now we are turning to Lokomotiva and then we go to Sofia to play another good match and qualify further in the 3rd QR. The atmosphere was great, we expected such a match. We will try to score in Sofia, it would be worth double for us" said Hajduk's right back Fran Tudor after the first - leg match.
"The first official match is always the toughest. We managed to win and it is the most important at this moment. We controlled the game throughout the match, only that one more goal was missing. I believe that we will win in Sofia as well and qualify to the next round. The atmosphere was fantastic, it was a great motivation for us. I'm sure it will be like that in the future as well" said midfileder Josip Radosevic, who played his first official match for Hajduk after he returned to the Club this summer.
"We expected a tough match, we knew Levski is a good team that defends firmly, We could have scored more goals but we didn't concede any and it's important for us. We will prepare for the second - leg match and think positively. We will analyse them and find their weaknesses. We won't defend in Sofia, we want to score. I would like to thank to our supporters, it felt great to play in such atmosphere" said Nikola Vlasic, who played a great match in Dugopolje.
