Osijek - Hajduk 2:1

In HT First Division round 8 match between HNK Hajduk and NK Osijek, that was played on Saturday evening in Osijek, Hajduk lost 2:1.  After a goalless first half in which none of the two teams managed to score for a lead, Hajduk's captain Zoran Nizic finally scored in the 50th minute for 1:0 but only one minute later, from their following attack, Hajradinovic scored an equalizer for Osijek. In the 93rd minute, during the added time, Eros Grezda scored for the final 2:1 win for Osijek. He entered the game as a substitute for Mudrazija in the 62nd minute. Ahead of the last match of the first quarter of the season, in which Hajduk and Rijeka will play the Adriatic derby at Poljud, Hajduk is currently in third place, two points behind Rijeka.
