Hajduk's captain Zoran Nizic stressed that his teammates really tried their best despite losing the Croatian derby.

"We played a very good game, I think there is a lot to regret about because we didn't score from our chances and we conceded goals from mistakes that we made. Dinamo was a better team at the beginning of the match but we were better at the end of the first half and nat the beginning of the second. There were plenty reasons for our fans to come and watch the game, they saw a good match, too bad that we didn't win. That's football, we now have to end the season in the best possible way" said the captain after the game. 

Zvonimir Kozulj entered in the second half and brought extra energy in the middle, but despite good chances, Hajduk didn't manage to score an equalizer.

"There were two great chances at the beginning of the second half but we didn't manage to score from them so in the end we were punished by conceding a goal from not that dangerous situation. We are now turning to upcoming matches, we have a few away games and it won't be easy but our plan is to finish what we atarted in the best possible way! concluded Kozulj.
