Dear Hajduk supporters,

when I came at Poljud eager to play, I knew, of course, that I would leave one day. The question was in what way and for what reason? My departure then and even much later seemed as something that could have take place sometimes in the far future.

But then everything unexpectedly changes, suddenly occurs and that moment tests my readiness. A year and a half ago I got an opportunity to go, but I was not ready for it. Now I was. I felt it as a call to do something natural - It's my time to go.

Don't think that I did not dream with you about winning the championship, cup, play the group stage of the Europa League or Champions League. It didn't happen and I would give a lot for such an experience.

Nevertheless, I felt really happy with you many times. I am grateful that you gave me strength and determination even when I lacked it.

I am grateful to all those who were not supporting me and those who did not believe in me because they made me focus more on trying to do better.

Where I continue my career, white Hajduk shirt will always be under the blue shirt. Knowing that you are with me, although you are not there, will make me stronger in the tendency to represent you with dignity.

You are part of me and nothing will change that. Thank you.
