During the break, Hajduk is playing a friendly game in Skabrnja on Tuesday at 14:00. This week, the team is going to have two training sessions every day, in the morning and in the afternoon, while on Sunday they will have a day off.

"I believe this break is going to help the team gain back stability through talking, analysis and trainings in order to return on the track where we used to be before the last two defeats against Rijeka and Osijek" said the captain Goran Milovic, who is joining the Croatian national team for the first time.

He is still under impression of the match in Osijek.

"Of course I can't forget that defeat and I feel responsible after each match, as a captain of this team. We didn't play well in Osijek and I want to apologize to our supporters for not playing as planned and in accordance to what was prepared for this game. But I wouldn't say we didn't fight for the victory. We are obviously still shocked by the match against Rijeka, we haven't got over that defeat."

Coach Buric was really angry after the defeat?

"It's normal. We were all angry. Nobody likes losing. We were all dissapointed, but there are no internal problems among us, we are proud of a great atmosphere and our relation with the coach is proper, which is why I'm particularly irritated by a part of the media that now tries to create a false image and talkes about bad relations between us. This is apsolutely not truth. We had a great winning streak and everything was fantastic back then, while now it seems nothing is functioning. I disagree with it."

What was the reason then?

"We have a young team and it is enough to remember the expectations ahead of this season. But we worked well. Coach Buric put effort on team development and on individual development of us players. It is normal that we have our ups and downs but people forget that there are many players taht are injured, such as Ohandza, Nizic, Velazquez etc. We have to become more experienced, both the team and each player. However, we also have to take responsibility for defeats and keep working harder and better, learn from mistakes and correct them. I strongly believe that we deserve patience and that better things are yet to come" said Goran Milovic.
