Turkey is a well known area for Hrvoje Milic who often came to Antalya while he was playing for Russian club, FC Rostov.

"In Russia, we had three separate preparation phases, apart from Dubai and Spain, we always went to Antalya or Belek too. Here we have optimal training conditions. The pitch is next to the hotel and the weather is nice, springlike".

After a short pause for a slight injury, Milic is back to full intensity training. He says that he expects a lot from the remaining football season.

"It is crucial that we start the second half of the season in a proper way. The first three matches will already indicate a lot. After Slaven Belupo at Poljud, we have two away matches, against Lokomotiva nad Rijeka. We are a young team and I think that at first, it would not be the same without the players that left, but all of us with more experience have to give our best to contribute the team even more".

Apart from Lovre Kalinic, a substitute captain to Goran Milovic, Milic is one of the oldest and most experienced first team players.

"The defence is crucial, defensive players will have very important roles. Kalinic is one of the most expereinced players and Zoran Nizic was a regular starter up to his injury. We have to base our game on good defense, as we did last autumn when our goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic set a record of 775 minutes without conceading a goal. As for myself, I'm ready to take on even more responsibility because I know it is expected of me" said Hrvoje Milic.

He pointed out that his main goal is to have as successful spring with Hajduk as possible and to get the invitation for Croatian national team at the EURO 2016 in France.
