Božo Mikulić debuted for Hajduk in a friendly match played on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Orkan from Dugi Rat. The new centre back played the first half of the match in which Hajduk celebrated 9:0, and his first impressions after a few days with the new team are more than positive.

"I'm very happy for having joined Hajduk, I consider it as being at home because this is the club I've always wanted to play for. I'm sure I'm going to further progress as a player in Hajduk and become a better person, and I want to show it through my behavior, performance and relation towards the Club" Mikulić said after the game at Dugi Rat.

It was the first test for Hajduk at the beginning of the preparations for the new season. The whole team is currently focusing on reaching the best form the first official match.

"The goal is to prepare well, I hope we will all skip any injuries and get ready for the first Europa League match, where we all expect to progress to the next round. There is a lot of work ahead of us, we all work hard and believe that we will all be ready for the challenges that the new season will bring" concluded Mikulić.
