In Varaždin, Mijo Caktaš scored his first goal in the new football season and thus continued from where he stopped at the end of last season, when he was awarded HT First League top scorer. This time, he took a penalty kick in the 55th minute and scored, securing his team a safe 2:0 lead against Varaždin. There were no goals scored in the first half and Caktaš explained what the head coach Damir Burić told them at half-time break.
"He encouraged us and said that we must believe in ourselves, that it's important to stay focused and start the second half by playing more aggressively. We knew that it would be a tough game and it was important to score and win this match".
