Mijo Caktas is no longer a player of Hajduk and he continues his football career in FC Rubin Kazan where he signed a three and a half year long contract.

"There is a new football challange ahead of me but Hajduk remains my beautiful memory. Hajduk is my club and with Hajduk I experienced many great moments. I want to thank to all who supported me, the coaches, club employees and fans. Rubin is my new professional challange but Hajduk will always be close to my heart. I wish my teammates a successful rest of the season" said Caktas.

Mijo Caktas played his first match for Hajduk on February 25, 2012 at Poljud against Istra, under coach Krasimir Balakov.

He collected 134 caps for Hajduk in the official matches and in the seasons 2012/12 and 2014715, he collected the most caps among Hajduk's players.

Caktas scored 39 goals and became the club's top scorer in the past five years while he is this season's top scorer having scored 13 goals.

He was a captain of Hajduk twice.

Mijo Caktas won one trophy with Hajduk's first team, the national Cup in 2013.
