Damir Batinić from Osijek was appointed match referee for the Sunday's match between Hajduk and Lokomotiva at Poljud (kick - off 17:30). He has already officiated four games of Hajduk in this season. Three times at Poljud and once in Zagreb, against Lokomotiva. Actually, he officiated both matches between these opponents in the current season and many more of their matches in the past seasons.
The first match between Hajduk and Lokomotiva that he officiated this season took place at Poljud and ended in a draw. In September, he officiated Hajduk - Rudeš at Poljud and in October Lokomotiva - Hajduk in Zagreb. He also officiated the November's match Hajduk - Inter Zaprešić at Poljud, behind closed doors. This series of one Hajduk's match per month continues in Split, where he will officiate the next Hajduk - Lokomotiva match. He also officiated four Lokomotiva matches this season, three in the First League and one in the Croatian Cup.
