Hajduk's striker Marko Futacs is the top scorer of MAXtv First League in the 2016/2017 season. Marko scored 18 goals in the championship, one more than the Soudani from Dinamo Zagreb. He is the first player of Hajduk to reach the top of league's top scorers list since 1992.

Futacs scored his 18 goals in 26 championship matches that he played and he scored to all the teams except Lokomotiva. He scored the most goals in the matches against Inter Zapresic, as many as four. Futacs scored three goals in the matches against Osijek, Cibalia and Slaven Belupo, twice against Istra 1961 and once against Rijeka, Dinamo and RNK Split.
