Hajduk's striker Marko Futacs was selected in the top 11 MAXtv First League players for the season 2016/2017. The League's top scorer has thus after the end of the season also won the "Trophy Footballer" award, awarded by the Croatian association "Football Union" for the fifth consecutive year.

As a reminder, Marko scored 18 First League goals in 26 appearances last season, and Hajduk's player was awarded top scorer of the League for the first time since 1992.
