Upon having signed a contract extension, Hajduk's striker Marko Bencun and the President Marin Brbic made a photo in our Trophy hall.

Marko Bencun was happy for the contract extension and once again stressed that playing for Hajduk is his dream come true.

"I'm glad that I signed the contract extension, we agreed on provisions in a few minutes and I believe both parties can be satisfied with it. I hope that me and my team mates are going to stay healthy and fit and I believe that I will help the team have a successful spring" said Bencun.

Bencun was born in Metkovic on November 09, 1992 and this season he collected 14 caps, having scored 4 goals plus 3 assists. As the ambitions of Hajduk are always high, it is expected of him to keep scoring in the remaining part of the season too.

"I don't think that UEFA Europa League qualification could be quastionable, but there are big challanges in both domestic competitions ahead of us. I want to repeat that my greatest wish is to avoid injuries that in the past have often got me off my planned track. The winter training camp in Turkey will definitely help, I was active during the winter break too, so I expect to start the second part of the season maximally ready" concluded Bencun.
