Manuel Arteaga, a 21-year old striker from Venezuela, is a new player of Hajduk.

Arteaga is born June 17, 1994 in Maracaibo and came to Poljud on a year - long loan from Italian Serie A club FC Palermo.

This young Venezuelan already gained international experience as he was a player of FC Parma and FC Anzoátegui (Venezuela) where he was league's top scorer with 17 goals in 21 matches. He also played for the national team of Venezuela.

"I'm happy for having joined Hajduk. I know that it is a great club and I had no doubts about coming to Split when I was offered this possibility. I believe that I will justify the expectations and I know that everyone expects goals" said Arteaga, who travels with the team to Turkey for a winter training camp.
