Hajduk started its pre-season practices with a victory. The Whites had beaten Slovenian first-division team Domžale behind the closed gate in Slovenska Bistrica with 3-1.

Domžale took a lead in 16th minute when Juninho scored, but by the end of the first half Hajduk turned everything with goals by Maloku (24) and Maglica (34). Mujan added the third one in minute 82.

Hajduk played with two different teams.

First half: Grbić – Mikanović, Milović, Nižić, Pejić – Caktaš, Balić – Maloku, Vlašić, Bencun – Maglica

Second half: Stipica – J. Bašić, Milović (Franić from 70), Bilyy, Tudor – Caktaš (T. Bašić from 83), Juranović – Mujan (Mastelić from 85), Roguljić, Vlašić (Radchenko from 58) – Kiš.
