Hajduk's Jean Evrard Kouassi scored his team's opener at the Francophone Games, currently taking place in Nice. Jean came off the bench in the 52nd minute, and scored to make it 1:0 in the 75th.
His country went on to win the game against Congo 2:1.
Kouassi will not be staying with the national team for the rest of tournament. He will be heading back to Poljud on Wednesday, and getting ready with the rest of his teammates for the Saturday derby against Dinamo.
