At the pre-match press conference, head coach Zeljko Kopic announced the upcoming biggest Croatian derby between Hajduk and Dinamo that will take place on Sunday at Poljud, kick - off 17:00. Hajduk is preparing for Dinamo with most of the players and the coach points out that his team is ready for all challanges that one such game brings.

"At this moment, we are mentally, tactically and physically ready, The team's form is improving, we play well and I'm sure that these are all relevant factors and prerequisits to play a good game on Sunday"  said Kopic, who was asked if Hajduk is the favorite at this moment.

"Each derby brings its specifics and factors that are sometimes hard to predict which is why I don't want to talk about which team will bear the role of favorite. It's on us to take care of our game, control the match and try to keep the balance till the very end".

He was asked whether he believed that Hajduk can get only two points behind Dinamo when he took over the team. 

"I was not thinking about minus 12 or minus two. I came here with a firm belief in my work, my coaching staff and the quality of players that I have. We prepare separately for each game and it is our task to play the best possible game. I wish that Hajduk shows that we have the necessary quality to play a good game here at our stadium, in front of crowds of our supporters" concluded Kopic.
