After the derby, Hajduk's head coach Zeljko Kopic said that there is not much to complaint about when it comes to how his team played. The away team won 2:1 but there were plenty of chances and the victory could have gone both ways.

"We were unable to impose our rhythm in the first 20 minutes, after that we managed to control posession, we created many attacks and in the rest of the game there were a few great chances to score. The football showed once again that it can be tricky. My players gave their best and there is not much to resent them" said the coach at his post-match press conference.

He also commented the quality of the match as well as the atmosphere at Poljud.

"The atmosphere nand the energy at the stadium were wonderful and the players acted really well on the pitch. This was a highly-energetic game, with high intensity and I think me had good chances to score more goals but we lacked that one goal" concluded Kopic.
