Coach Teo Pirija attended the match in Koper, Slovenia, where the next Hajduk oponent Luka Koper have qualified for the second qualification round of the European League, after winning Vikingur from Iceland in two legs.
Luka Koper won the first match at Iceland 1-0, and the second leg at Bonifika stadium in Koper ended with a 2-2 draw.
"Two teams were equally close to a win, and Icelanders were a pleasant surprise for me. They had some good opportunities at 0-0, but Koper's goalkeeper Simčič had few exxcellent saves," said the scouting coach Teo Pirija before he gives a full report to the head coach Damir Burić.
Koper's head coach is Italian Rodolfo Vanoli.
"Koper is good, and well organized team, especially in defence. You can recognize an Italian coach style, they are very disciplined, and respect all the tactical ideas. Of course, they hava some flaws, those are the things I will report to Burić. Regarding stadium, it's new, and pleasant, with excellent turf," said Pirija.
