Stanko Jurić scored in his second consecutive match, this time he scored a fantastic goal from 25 meters against Lokomotiva at Poljud, but it was not enough to win the first championship match in the new season.

"My goal in the end is not that important, it's a pity we didn't use it to win the match, we lost too many balls and posession between the lines, they took advantage of one such situation and equalized from the counterattack. We are disappointed, but we have to raise our heads and prepare for everything that is coming in the next days" Jurić said after the match.

This is the second goal of this young midfielder after only two official matches played for the first team. This one against Lokomotiva was really spectacular.

"I got a good pass, everything I shoot enters the goal, I hope it will continue like that. I waited patiently for my chance, I knew that it would come and I think I used it well" concluded Jurić.

Josip Juranović captained the team in this match.

"I think we were the better team, we had eight shots on goal, but was simply not our day. I believe that in the coming games we can do better, Europa League qualifications always demand more, we have to analize Steaua now and do our best to reach the next round. On Thursday I expect Poljud to be well-crowded, supporters will see that we are giving our best on the field and for the team" added the right winger.
