Josip Juranovic can't wait for the upcoming match against the city rival RNK Split. In MAXtv First League, round 20, Hajduk plays against RNK Split on Saturday at Poljud, kick - off 17:00.

In a little bit less than a year, Juranovic, who used to be playing for Dubrava in the 3rd Croatian League, became one of the most important players of Hajduk and a positive surprise for club supporters.

This young player was born on August 16, 1995 in Zagreb. He says that he prefers playing First League matches:

"I feel I made a significant progress here in Hajduk, especially when it comes to speed and strenght. Moreover, it is much nicer here, pitches are better and for a young player it is important to be surrounded by other good players that support him".

Juranovic has nice memories of the last match against Split, played on September 27, 2015 at Park mladezi. He was a substitute for Susic and played from the 52nd minute in a 2:0 victory of Hajduk (goals scored by Vlasic and Caktas).

Juranovic is among the players at Buric's disposal for the match against Split. He will give his best to act in accordance with what coach Buric expects from him.

As for RNK Split, he thinks that they are a good and disciplined team:

"They have many midfielders, dangerous striker Bagaric and winger Franjic, but we play at our stadium and we are only interested in winning. Not only this match but both matches before the winter break" said Josip Juranovic.
