Josip Juranovic scored his first goal in the official matches for Hajduk this Wednesday, in the MAtv First Legaue match against Lokomotiva (2:0).

"I scored 4 goals for Hajduk but only in the friendlies. This is my first goal in the official matches and of course I'm happy for it. It feels great to score, especially at Poljud. Kalik's assist was great. I want to dedicate this goal to my girlfriend Sanda and my family, they are my biggest support" said Juranovic.

"I played many different positions, wherever coach wants I'm always ready, I played right back, midfielder and left wing. I prefer playing midfield positions, closer to the goal."

On such position, he scored his first goal on Wednesday.

This 20-year old first team player already has 42 caps for the first team. This season, he has six assists and is among the top assist - makers in Hajduk's first team, only Vlasic (10), Milic and Tudor (7) have more assists.

Juranovic is also one of the most regular starters, this season he played 35 matches and collected 2722 minutes played, in average, 78 minutes per match.

Unfortunately, on Wednesday he got his third accumulated yellow card and he can't play against Rijeka on Sunday.

"I'm really sorry that I can't play on Sunday. I won't be able to help my teammates on the pitch but I believe in our team and in a positive result of the Adriatic derby" concluded Juranovic.
