Bassel Jradi scored his first goal for Hajduk in today's victory over Vrapče in Zagreb, where Hajduk played the Croatian Cup round of 32 match.

"This was not an easy match, one should always respect the opponent, regardless the division they play in. They resisted well but we showed that we are true professionals, we didn't underestimate them and finally, we deserved to win" said Jradi after the match. 

This midfielder scored his first goal for Hajduk in the 49th minute, on the assist of Darko Nejašmić. 

"I'm very happy for this first goal, my wish is to score the goal in the championship match as soon as possible" added Jradi, who then commented the upcoming derby against Dinamo at Poljud.

"If I play the derby, it will for sure be the biggest match of my life so far, I watched the documentary about the biggest Croatian derby, I was thrilled with the atmosphere and I really can't wait for that match to start" he concluded.
