A victory always push some of the players up front. This weekend against Zagreb, a winner maker was Nikola Vlašić with his great goal. However, his co-players made a strong contribution, especially goalkeeper Lovre Kalinić.

Goran Jozinović pointed that out after the match.

"Lovre saved us when we needed it the most. Zagreb had its chances at the beginning, but Kalinić was at his best," said Hajduk's left wing-back.

"We expected this to be a hard match. Our first half was very good, it looked pretty good in spite of Zagreb having the first oportunity of the match. As I said, Kalinić saved us. In the second half they attacked us with three and even four players, going for all or nothing. We had posession in our favor, but without any real chance to score. We were supposed to deal much better with our counter-atacks. It's normal with so many young, unexperienced players still waiting to gain experience," said Jozinović.

Jozinović played another game as a real fighter.

"We really left our heart on the pitch. In several situations there were few of us runing to block, it seemed like we wanted to show Zagreb players they will never score," said Jozinović.

Hajduk's goalkeeper Lovre Kalinić received congratulations after the match.

"It's been a while since I was so content with my play. Match was really hard because of the prychological burden that we really must win if we want to play in European League. Zagreb had its chances, but we had some really good situations, too. We seized one, and scored. We could have even scored more, but at the end, what really matter is that we fulfilled our season goal.

Kalinić says this was his last match as a bachelor, he is getting married soon. After Hajduk secured its position for European league, he says it's time to enjoy.
