A referee from Zagreb Fran Jović will officiate the Adriatic derby for the third time in the current year. This time, he will officiate HT First League, round 8 match on Sunday at Rujevica, kick - off 19:00. His assistants will be Ivica Modrić, Goran Pataki, Goran Loparac, Ivan Vučković and Dario Bel.

This season, Jović officiated Hajduk's game with Varaždin (Hajduk won 3:0), while he hasn't officiate any Rijeka's game this season so far.

Jović opfficiated the last two Ardiatic derbies that both took place in 2019. Once it ended in a goalless draw, while in the last match, Hajduk beat Rijeka 4:0 at Poljud.
