Jefferson de Jesus Santos is officially no longer a player of Hajduk. The Brazilian was presented as a new player of Portuguese club GD Chavez, with whom he signed a three-year long contract.

For the first team of Hajduk, Jefferson debuted on July 12, 2015 in a derby against Dinamo (1:1), under coach Damir Buric.

Over the next two seasons, he became one of the most standard players with a total of 79 appearances in the official matches, of which 74 were in the starting lineup. In the white jersey, he played 66 entire matches, he scored a total of four goals and added four assists.

His last official match for Hajduk took place on May 26 against Slaven Belupo in Koprivnica, where Hajduk celebrated 2:1.
