Jairo scored two goals in Hajduk's victory over Gorica this evening at Poljud, those were the first goals that he scored this season. He played a great match, scoring for 1:0 in the 30th minute on the assist of Hamza Barry and he scored for 2:0 in the 67th minute.

"We knew that it would be a tolugh match against a team that defends very well but we showed a great desire and dedication, we wanted to win this match, our supporters helped us to win those new three points. As for my goals, I believed that I would start scoring again, the coach and my teammates supported me and I worked hard every day on our training sessions to manage in it and it now paid off. Every goal helps improve self-confidence, I feel much better now. Last season I scored 13 goals, this season I want to score even more" said Jairo after the match.
