At the very beginning of the match, Jairo had a very good chance to score but Dinamo's defender timely blocked his attempt. Afterwards, he crossed to Leon Kreković but a young Hajduk's striker didn't manage to shoot on target. Very soon after, Hajduk was left with 10 men in field, after Ardian Ismajli's second caution, and in the end, Dinamo scored two goals in the second half and won 2:0 (Kadzior, Ademi).
"We had three good chances in the first half, I was the first who had a chance to score, if we managed to score then, I'm sure that the match would be much easier for us. We were better in the first half, it's a pity that we didn't score a goal, but even with 10 men we kept fighting until the last second" said Jairo after the derby.
