Ivan Rakitić, one of the greatest football players in Croatian history, has decided to close the last page of a brilliant playing career today. 

He made a total of 39 official appearances for Hajduk, 37 of which he was in the starting lineup. He scored two goals and made five assists for our Club.

Rakitić was one of the key players in winning silver with the Croatian national team at the World Cup in Russia. He is a winner of the Champions League with Barcelona, ​​winner of the UEFA Super Cup, two-time winner of the Europa League with Sevilla, four-time winner of La Liga titles, four-time winner of the Copa del Rey titles, two-time winner of the Spanish Super Cups, he won the Club World Cup, the Swiss Cup, and the German Cup.

He played 323 official matches for Sevilla, 310 for Barcelona, ​​over 100 for Schalke 04, and at the beginning of his career he played for Basel.
