Hajduk II earned a valuable win in Zagreb, on the Hitrec-Kacijan pitch, next to the main Maksimir pitch. Coach Sinisa Orescanin' s squad deserved to win the match.

Hajduk celebrated 2:1 in an interesting match against the leading team of Second Croatian League. Though Hajduk II was not complete, they presented their recognizable style of play and won, thus maintaining position among the top teams on the table. Goran Gruica did not take his place in the defense due to injury, and the top scorer Ivan Delic joined the first team, for which he made his first appearance today in Koprivnica. Thus, Ivan Prtajin joined the starters and played a great match, he scored for a lead and was fouled for a penalty kick awarded to Hajduk from which Jerko Separovic scored the winning goal, for the big celebration of Hajduk II.

"Nejasmic passed a great long ball, I was shooting the left angle and scored. I'm delighted for the goal and the penalty awarded for a foul on me, I also want to thank everyone for congratulations. Coach Orescanin was satisfied after the derby, this kind of victory is a great stimulation for the youngest team in the League.

We have stopped an unpleasant series of a few games without a win, but I have to remind that in most of these matches we were playing good and concrete and the result could have turned to our side. Today, all of this has returned to us in the most beautiful way possible, in the derby against the biggest rival.
