On Sunday afternoon, Hajduk played an away match against Istra 1961 in Pula, Aldo Drosina stadium and defeated the hosts 2:0, thus winning the fourth consecutive MAXtv First League match. It was also the 100th official match for Hajduk of the captain Zoran Nizic.

Hajduk squad entered the match fully concentrated on scoring and the final result was set in the first half already. Ante Erceg scored for a 1:0 lead in the 19th minute, on the assist of Futacs. This striker scored in almost every of the last few First League matches, it was his 10th championship goal for Hajduk. In the 32nd minute, Marko Futacs scored his 11th First League goal for 2:0. The result didn't change in the remaining one hour of the match but in the stoppage time, central defender of Hajduk, Georgi Terziev was sent off after a foul and will for sure miss the next match against Osijek in Split.
