On Hajduk's path to the Third Qualifying Round of the Europa League there stands the winner of the matchup between Turnovo and Sūduva. The games between Hajduk and the representative of either Macedonia or Lithuania will be played on July 18 and 25.

FK Turnovo

- The club hails from Turnovo, a small town with under 1000 inhabitants. It is located near the city of Strumica, in the southeast of Macedonia. It was founded in 1950 and plays its home matches on the Kukuš stadium, with a capacity of 1500. According to Macedonian media, they hope to host Hajduk in Skopje, the nation's capital.

- Ljupčo Dimitkovski is their head coach, who led them to a third-place finish in last year's championship, after gaining promotion to the top flight in 2008. The games against Sūduva will be their maiden European appearance.

- Turnovo is 174 km, or about 100 miles, away from Skopje.

FK Sūduva

- The club hails from Marijampole, in the southwest of Lithuania. Founded in 1968, their home stadium has a capacity of 6200.

- Head Coach Darius Gvildys likewise led them to a third-place finish in the previous season. After seventeen rounds in the new Lithuanian championship, they are currently fourth in the standings.

- In last year's Europa League, they progressed past Daugava of Latvia before being eliminated by the Serbian team Vojvodina. In the two years before that, they fell at the first hurdle to Elfsborg of Sweden, and Rapid Vienna, respectively. In nine attempts, they managed to reach the Second Qualifying Round five times, however this is as far as they ever got.
