Spanish midfielder Ignacio "Nacho" Maganto officially signed for Hajduk today. He joined the team during the pre-season preparations in Slovenia and his last club was Los Angeles Galaxy, where he collected 20 caps and scored two goals. Today, just before the afternoon training, he put his signature on a contract with Hajduk.

Maganto was born on January 02, 1992 in Madrid. He passed Getafe Youth academy, while as a senior he decided to go to Iona College. He collected in that period a total of 71 caps, in which he scored 27 goals and added 14 assists.

In the last season, in 18 appearances, he scored 11 goals and had 5 assists. He was declared the Offensive Player of the Year in the University League and was elected to the All-Star team. On the MLS Super Draft in January 2015, he was elected in the first round by LA Galaxy.
