Hajduk started a new football season with a 2:2 draw in the away UEFA Europa League QR2 first - leg match against CSMS Iasi.
The home team took a lead in the 19th minute, when Cristea scored for 1:0. Only 4 minutes later, Iasi scored another goal (Piccioni 23').
Although the first half was clearly not played according to everyone's expectations, Hajduk managed to play a completely different second half.
Franck Ohandza entered the game at the beginning of the second half, after a long recovery from injury that he suffered in the derby against Dinamo, last September at Poljud.
Ohandza scored for 2:1 only three minutes later (48') and announced Hajduk's comeback into the game. Hajduk dominated the sdecond half but missed many chances to score an equalizer, until stoppage time, when the new player Ahmed Said Said scored for a draw in the 93rd minute.
