Hajduk played a friendly match with Varteks in Varaždin's suburb Jalkovec, and won 4-0. This match came as a Hajduk's gratitude for Varteks' support after the Whites refused to play against Dinamo last winter. Also, Hajduk invited Varteks for another friendly match, this time in Split, possibly during the next season preparations.

Coach Hari Vukas used the full roaster, except injured Balić and Maglica. Scorers for Hajduk were Demir (25), Tudor (30), Kurbanov (78) and Puljić (in 84th minute). About 200 Hajduk fans gathered by the field, after Torcida boycotted derby against Dinamo on Saturday.
