By winning against Inter Zapresic, Hajduk successfully concluded the competitions in 2017. The first team is currently having a winter break, and the first training session that will mark the beginning of winter preparations will take place on January 8, 2018.

At the end of the first week, Hajduk will also play the first friendly match against NK Varteks from Varazdin and it will take place at Poljud stadium. The match will be played on January 14, 2018, kick - off 15:00.

Hajduk will then travel to Turkey where they will be having the central part of preparations, and during the stay they will also play several friendly matches. More information about opponents and fixtures will be published soon.

Friendship and cooperation between Hajduk and Varteks has been lasting for a long time. Among other, just six months ago, Hajduk and Varteks signed Agreement on business and sport cooperation  in Varazdin.

Hajduk and Varteks played a friendly match in May 2015 in Jalkovec. On that occasion, Hajduk wanted to thank Varteks for their support after Hajduk refused to play the derby against Dinamo, which was followed by Varteks team coming out on the field in the "We are all Hajduk" T-Shirts.
