Anton Maglica will be missing the Slaven Belupo match after being booked for a third time. Unfortunately, there are several injuries as well. No seat on the bus needs to be booked for Marko Bencun, who will be sidelined for a month following a rough tackle in the Cup tie against Vinogradar. The three-match-five-goal man will thus not be adding to his tally, but the injury list does not end there. Haris Bukva and Mislav Anđelković have not yet recovered from their respective injuries. Filip Bradarić also sustained an injury in the Vinogradar match (his leg), while Mijo Caktaš is recovering well from his surgery, but is not expected back until spring. Not one, but several others among Igor Tudor's charges also had minor complaints over the past few days.
Lovre Kalinić and Giorgi Iluridze came out of the most recent Lokomotiva match with not only three points, but also three stitches each, both for facial injuries. They thus missed the 1:3 win over Vinogradar, as did Mario Maloča. However, the Captain at least will be featuring in Koprivnica.
Nonetheless, the MAXtv Prva Liga leaders head into the Slaven Belupo match with a great dose of optimism. The hosts have hit a good patch of form under the experienced Mladen Frančić, and so the football public is hoping for a fine match this weekend in Koprivnica.
