Hajduk and NK Croatia Zmijavci signed Agreement on business and sports cooperation today in Zmijavci.

The Agreement was signed by President of the Board of Hajduk Ivan Kos and President of Croatia Zdravko Gabelica, in the presence of the Head of the Youth Academy of Hajduk Kresimir Gojun,  club's chronicler Jurica Gizdic and Vice President of Croatia Marijo Gudelj, Head of their Academy Ante Knezovic and Director of the club Svetimir Mrkonjic. It regulates mutual relationships that include a variety of professional activities in the area of football and the process of working with the youth categories.

After signing contracts with NK Junak Sinj and NK Zmaj Makarska, Hajduk decided to support Zmijavci as one of their future development polygons. Some of the former players of Hajduk from Zmijavci were the famous national team players Ivan Gudelj and Mislav Karoglan, while Hrvatin Gudelj and Petar Suto started their playing career in Croatia.

Several players of Zmijavci developed in Hajduk's football Academy, but it should be noted that in the course of history, several former players of Hajduk were later coaching Croatia, including the famous Hajduk's national team player and winner of the Olympic silver medal, the late Zlatko Papec.

This is just a continuation of cooperation with Dalmatian clubs, a few other clubs will join Junak, Zmaj and Croatia, with the purpose of strengthening the development of football in the region as the common interest of all clubs.

The main wish and the goal is to cooperate with clubs from Dalmatia and help extend a range of Hajduk's Academy players, but also building a successful future of Hajduk.
