Hajduk has started the new season very successfully. In July, the first team played 5 official matches, with a score of four wins and one draw, despite the fact that they played four away matches.
This is the best start for Hajduk after the season 2006/2007 when in five matches, Hajduk had all five victories, with the main difference that in the afore-mentioned season, all victories were achieved in the championship matches.
The current goal difference in the first five games is +7, with 10 goals scored and only three conceded. It is really encouraging that in three games (Cibalia, Olexandriya and Split) Hajduk did not concede a goal.
On the other hand, Hajduk scored two goals per game. A total of 7 players scored, among which Franck Ohandza, who is the current top scorer with four goals.
It is fascinating that the Cameroon striker played only 157 minutes in total and scored four goals to which he added one assist. Ahmed Said Said, Toma Basic, Zvonimir Kozulj, Fran Tudor, Marko Cosic and Ante Erceg scored one goal.
Hajduk scored the most goals, as many as six, in a period from 76' to 90+ minute (2 goals in the 90th minute, 3 in stoppage time and 1 in 82nd minute). Eight goals were scored on the away matches, while in the only game played at Poljud, against Iasi, Hajduk scored two goals.
Nikola Vlasic has currently collected most assists (4), followed by Tino Susic with two assists.
During the first five official matches, coach Pusnik rotated 23 players. T. Basic, Said, Vlasic and Kozulj played all the matches, while Cosic, Bilyi, Juranovic, Nizic, Ohandza and Jefferson played one less. Vlasic played the most (431 minutes), followed by Kozulj with 391 minutes on the pitch.
