Despite the first diagnosis by which it was questionable whether Oleksandr Svatok will be able to train with the team in Slovenia because of facial injury, this defender went to Pohorje with his teammates.
In the last season he played 10 official games after joining Hajduk in the winter transfer window and he is now training normally together with the rest of the team and their main focus is to prepare for the upcoming season in the best possible way. The 24-year old Ukrainian is now wearing a special protective face mask and has continued training from the day one on their summer training camp in Slovenia.
!I feel fine, I can normally train. I believe that I will be able to play the first friendly matches here in Slovenia as well" said Svatok who transferred to Hajduk from the Ukrainian Zorya and these two clubs will play a friendly match in Slovenia for the third year in a row.
Svatok opposed Hajduk in July 2018 during the summer training camp in Slovenia and Hajduk beat his former team 3:1. This year the two clubs will meet again, only this time Svatok will be playing for Hajduk.
