Hajduk has signed professional contracts with a talented generation that has been developing through Yourh Academy and second senior team in the past two years. Tonio Teklić, Domagoj Bradarić, Ante Palaversa, Darko Nejašmić and Leon Kreković have signed their first professional contracts, while Michele Šego extended his scholarship contract.
Previosuly, Hajduk has also signed Dario Špikić and Jurica Pršir, their peers who have joined from Dinamo, while our young striker Ivan Delić has also signed a contract earlier this year.
These young talented players are the future of Hajduk and the Club wanted to clearly confirm that we are counting on them not only by offering new contracts to them but also by inviting them to join the first team's pre-season preparations.
THEIR STATEMENTS AFTER SIGNING NEW CONTRACTS:
Domagoj Bradarić (defender, born 1999): I am happy and proud, the feeling is fantastic because I finally fulfilled my biggest dream. I've spent my entire life at Hajduk, I worked and trained for this, I listened to the coach's advice, and the signature of a professional contract is just another big motivation for everything that is expected of me.
Darko Nejašmić (midfielder, born 1999): It's an incredible feeling to sign a professional contract with Hajduk. As a child you are dreaming that one day you become a player of Hajduk, you sign a contract and play at packed Poljud. Half of that dream has come true, and now it's up to me to do my best and deserve to be a part of Hajduk's first team.
Tonio Teklić (midfielder, born 1999): It's hard to describe what this means for us, we signed contracts for the Club that is the biggest in our lives and we all hope that we will justify it in the best possible way. All these guys live for Hajduk, this is what we were working and struggling for, and I hope that we will show during preparation that we belong here.
Michele Šego (forward, born 2000): The feeling is just indescribable, as when I first played and scored the first goal in the white jersey. I hope that through my work and dedication I will continue to justify the confidence of the coach Kopic, who gave me a chance to play in the second half of the last season. I am happy to finally start training, I expect that we prepare well for the upcoming season and readily await for the official matches.
Ante Palaversa (midfielder, born 2000): I am very happy, the signature of a professional contract for Hajduk is the fulfillment of a boy's dream. I want to prove myself to coach Kopić, I am eagerly awaiting for my first preparations and it is a pleasure to have the opportunity to train with such players.
Leon Kreković (forward, born 2000): I am very happy about signing the first professional contract with Hajduk. I am also truly happy for my first preparations with the first team. Only hard work, effort and commitment is the way to success and progress, and I can hardly wait for the training to start.
