Hajduk eliminated FC OLexandriya from the UEFA Europa League in a convincing way.
After the first-leg away 3:0 victory, on Thursday night, Hajduk dominated possession and chances at his home venue, Poljud, beat Olexandriya 3:1.
Olexandriya took a lead early in the match, when Starenkyi scored for 0:1 in the 13th minute.
Only eight minutes later, Zoran Nizic scored an equalizer, after which, Hajduk had many opportunities to take a lead by the end of first half, but it was only in the 52nd minute that Hajduk took a lead. Tino Susic scored for 2:1 from penalty kick awarded to Hajduk after a foul on Ahmad Said in the penalty area.
Tino Susic scored from a wonderful free kick and set the final result in the 56th minute.
It was a great evening to celebrate together with over 20 000 fans who came to Poljud to give their support to the team, as Hajduk once again reached the playoff stage of the UEFA Europa League.
