Hajduk representatives laid a wreath at the Memorial Cemetery of the Homeland War Victims today in Vukovar, on the occasion of marking Vukovar Memorial Day.

Hajduk was represented by the Club's chronicler Jurica Gizdic, Luka Mrvelj, President of Hajduk Friends Society Vukovar Bruno Sekeres and Hajduk's longtime commissioner in Slavonia, Sime Buzov. The delegation came to Vukovar to give honor to all the victims of the city's suffering in the war.

They also visited Ovcara Memorial Center and the mass grave and lit candles on the graves of General Blago Zadro, legendary soldier Marko Babic and by the monument of Jean-Michel Nicolier.

Tomorrow, they will join the traditional Vukovar Remembrance Day procession starting from the town's hospital of Vukovar.
