Today, Hajduk marks the 90th anniversary of the birth of their great player Bernard Bajdo Vukas. On this occasion, captain Zoran Nizic and vice - captain Nikola Vlasic, accompanied by the oldest living former players of Hajduk, Tonci Baranovic and Zeljko Borovcic Kurir, laid the wreath along the Statue of Vukas, in front of Poljud stadium.

On behalf of the Club, Nikica Krnic, member of the Supervisory Board, addressed the members of the family Vukas, Bajdo's wife Stjepanka and nephew Mislav Andrijasevic, as well as other former players of Hajduk that gathered on this occasion. 

Krnic reminded them of the most interesting details from the rich football career of Bajdo Vukas, mentioning all his successes. Accompanied with the Club's chronicler Jurica Gizdic, Krnic lit the candle in his honor. Borovcic Kurir was particularly emotional, saying that he "had the greatest honor possible - to be able to play with the biggest footballer - Bajdo".
