Third Congress in the area of ​​training, prevention and rehabilitation of hamstring injuries called GLOBAL HAMSTRING PROJECT was held last weekend in Barcelona. It was attended by our Head of Sports performance Mario Tomljanovic and Head of Kinesiology department Tea Beslija.

The topics were interesting and very useful, it was an opportunity to exchange experiences with distinguished speakers and other participants of the Congress. With Mitch Willis, fitness coach of FC Leicester, Tomljanovic and Beslija specifically discussed monitoring loads of players during the season, while they talked about organization of work and the internal organization of the club with Carles Pedret, Physician of FC Barcelona team.

FC Juventus fitness coach Roberto Sassi and rehabilitation coach Marc Luisoni passed their own way of work and general experience in working with other teams (Lecce, Lazio, Avellino, Turin, Verona, Salernitana, Fiorentina, Valencia, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Parma, Sampdoria, Dinamo Moscow etc).

Our experts also talked with an astronaut Richard Linnehan, who works for the US space agency NASA and who passed a series of his experience and knowledge of the universe and of space technology.
